Another question (sorry). Who here has been to a concert from America, especially for 10-11 Scene tour? Where did you get the tickets from? For how much? What venue is usually the cheapest?
I asked je_goods and she told me budget around $1000 for one ticket. I want to see if there are other suppliers/price range out there.
Thanks!

Date: 2011-01-25 10:20 pm (UTC)if you wanna try getting tickets for a lower price, you should join mixi! they have arashi ticket communities so if someone has an extra ticket, they'll post there. there are VERY few people with extra tickets and a LOT of fans asking for them, but if you're a foreigner maybe you'll have an advantage ^-^
scalpers at the venue are also an option lol if you wait until the concert actually starts, they'll lower the price ^-^ i'm not sure how much their tickets usually are but i'm pretty sure it would be less than $1,000 if it's at a venue not in tokyo.
hope that helps!

Date: 2011-01-25 10:30 pm (UTC)do these ticketing services put the tickets up when the tour is announced or later?

Date: 2011-01-25 10:49 pm (UTC)hm i've never heard of that site before so i'm not sure x(
once the balloting results are out, fans sell their tickets on sites like ticket.co.jp and yahoo auctions.

Date: 2011-01-25 11:02 pm (UTC)how long does it take for results to come out? i'm wondering about the timing for buying a con ticket and ticket to japan. there should be enough time to plan for both right?

Date: 2011-01-26 12:57 am (UTC)It is MUCH cheaper to buy a ticket from someone prior to seat assignments. While you won't have the ticket in hand, if they find out it's floor prior to selling it, they can jack the price WAY up.
The best way to get tickets is to have a friend in Japan and have them join the FC for you. That's what I did. I didn't hit this year, but another friend did and I went with her to the last show in Fukuoka.
Another bit of advice is to not try to go for the Tokyo/Kokuritsu shows. They're ALWAYS the most bidded on and always have the highest prices. If you're going to go to Japan, don't do it for just a concert - make a trip out of it and buy a rail pass - that way you can go to the place where the concert is (Nagoya, Osaka, Fukuoka, etc) then just go back to Tokyo and spend time there. Definitely get your money's worth, that way.

I don't know anyone living in japan :(
Thanks for the help!!

Date: 2011-01-30 08:34 am (UTC)I don't live close to Tokyo or Osaka, so it's harder to run into people or shops selling tickets cheaper.

Date: 2011-01-30 01:09 pm (UTC)Tokyo is way too far away anyways, so I wouldn't ballot for those tickets.
I almost went to Fukuoka on their last concert day and was hoping for scalpers, but in the end I didn't go. As it was the last day, chances were probably quite low anyways ^^
