So I heard a rumor from a friend saying that Arashi is going to be doing a concert in LA this summer...! No idea where this news came from, so I was wondering if anyone else has heard this? I kind of doubt that it's true, but I'd really really like to believe it. XD

I'm not sure how to tag this, sorry. ^_^''

EDIT: The general consensus is that it's highly unlikely. I guess us West Coast Arashi fans will have to keep on hoping for now!

Sadly i don't think that can be true right now. Sho has to go to Beijing to cover Olympics in August, Ohno is with Maou this summer, and all our boys have tight schedules, they are hosting 24hrs tv this year, so that is really lot of work ^^U

I was in LA for the premiere of the Hidden Fortress: The Last Princess, and we asked MatsuJun if Arashi would be willing to come to the USA and do a concert. He said he would definitely like to, but of course, it's not in his hands. :) He was definitely surprised by the rabid fanbase that came to see the movie though, so who know? I agree with Shinn89 - I doubt this summer, though. :(

Yeah, I figured. But dude, I hope that the attention JE's been getting from foreign fans from stuff like the premiere will get the Jimusho to realize that they should have JE boys do concerts outside Asia~ ♥

I doubt. I know that GLAY is holding a concert in LA this August, but I doubt Arashi can even fit such a thing in their schedule.

Not to be a party pooper or anything, but I hate to pop your balloon thinking there's going to be a concert in LA this summer knowing that they have so much planned for summer + beyond I highly doubt it. If any of the JE groups were to perform in the US, I'm sure there would be intense news about it, for sure.

Well, I know people have tried petitions before. I'm not sure how much the Jimusho is really influenced by such things. Plus I'm not sure how they'd go about selling tickets here in America, since nobody here is in the fan club... :/

well, economically speaking, if you book your airfare WAY in advance, they're only about $300, as opposed to what, $1000-ish for Japan. might as well spend the rest of that money on concert goods in LA!
