Hey guys! I have an uncle who is going to Japan on the 15th and I'm thinking of asking him to buy me Arashi's Time Con DVD over there. Is there a place aside from the JE Shops where he can buy them? You know like local video stores inside shopping malls? I would appreciate it if some of you could give names of stores. And how much is it if you get it in yen? Thanks very much! Hope someone could help me! :D

Just go to any DVD store and look in the music section. They will all be the same price so it doesn't really matter where you go. Try Tsutaya, HMV, or Tower Records -- they are big chains and all over Japan. :)

As the above poster said, any CD/DVD store will most likely have it. HMV and Tower Records are the easiest to find, but just make sure you go to the right floor. The usually have floors just for Japanese music and Japanese DVDs, rather than just DVD and CD floors. According to the back of my copy, the DVD costs JPY5333 so that is without tax. The addition of tax didn't even take it up to JPY6000, so you can be sure it'll be in that range.

Enjoy the DVD when you get it ^___^ It's fantastic.

Ah, no. The HMV and Tower Records stores aren't in shopping malls. They usually consist of 6-9 floors, so they are very easy to spot, especially since they have gigantic signs and billboards out the front. The floors usually are as follows:

1 - CDs
2 - DVDs
3 - Japanese CDs
4 - Japanese DVDs
5 - Books

Etc, etc. Some of the stores have the Japanese music DVDs on the same floor as the Japanese CDs. If you get confused, then just go to the information desk, which they have on every floor, usually on the opposite side that the counter is on. Just ask them what you would like, and they'll direct you to the right floor, if you're not already on it.

A good idea is just to have your dad write the name of the DVD out on a piece of paper and show it to a staffer at the desk. They will take you to it and no need to search. :D
