the thirf boy from left at second row from bottom does look a bit like Kame but I'm not sure (at all) :(

I'm not sure - because Ohno didn't have many appearances when he was a junior - the occasional backup dancing and singing, but very few photoshoots. Also, he had long hair when he was a Junior. Refer to the A.RA.SHI. PV for the style.

All I heard about him before Arashi is he oftenly play in stageplay but I really have no idea about the else.
I thought the hairstyle in the pic is kinda simmiliar with A.RA.SHI?

his hair in the picture is layered and short. His hair when he was a junior was level-cut, and long.

Although there was a specific time when his hair was short and BLACK but that would be too early.

I'd say that this picture is from the end of 1998 (November maybe). So people like Jimmy Mackey weren't Juniors back then. Unfortunately the quality of the picture is so bad (and sometimes the facial expressions of the guys are just LOL), so it's hard to tell for sure who's who. But here are my guesses.

yup, Ryo-chan's audition date is 1997.09.06 and Jimmy joined somewhere in 1999. and about Kansai Jrs., I don't think that there are many of them in the picture. however, I've got no clue about some juniors (e.g. 43, 52, 14, 15) so maybe they are from Kansai XD

lol, no. XD their audition date is 96.12.25. but I get your point. I think that they just simply aren't there. especially since Yoko was blonde at that time, he would be easy to spot. and I've got a vague feeling that back then Hina was often paired with Yoko, so it is no wonder to me that he isn't in the picture.

I like collecting infos about the past of jimusho. and I'm always pleasantly surprised if someone is interested in it. <3

though sometimes it make me sad because there are a lot of talented boys who never 'win the bet'.

you asked a hard question^^ some audition dates are for example here (http://arashi.vox.com/library/post/exact-johnnys-entry-date.html). but when it comes to general knowledge, it's all about good googling ;) and it takes lots of time. there was once a really good site about juniors, but it is no more T__T and now can't recommend anything better than japanese wiki (although the language barrier is a problem *sighs*).
