Just curious, but does anyone know what other languages each of the Arashi boys can speak?

I'm pretty sure Sho knows a lot of English... not sure how fluent he is or isn't, and I know Aiba claims to know English. That's about as far as I know and I can't confirm the accuracy of them. :[

Matsujun has been known to have interest in learning Chinese.

Sho is supposedly fluent in English, but it seems like he reads and writes it better than he speaks. He also knows some Mandarin and Korean. (they all took Mandarin lessons as a part of the early MMA episodes).

Aiba can speak limited (and very broken) english. (And has a tendancy to stick japanese into it.)

Nino knows a bit of english, and uses it randomly.

Jun speaks Mandarin pretty well. I don't know if he really knows it or is just good at memorizing and pronunciating.

:) just to clarify. ^_^

Does he really? I know he mentioned that he couldn't speak it so well and had a hard time learning it...

I think word "speak" is too much. But also I heard Sho-kun learned some Spanish in uni.

I know Sho speaks English, and he doesn't have much of a Japanese accent when he speaks it. :P

I don't really think they're fluent in anything but Japanese, honestly. With a little bit of brushing up and memorizing romanized pronounciations, they can speak pretty much anything-- and of course forget what they learned soon afterwards. But let's see...

All of them know bits and pieces of English since after all, it's Japan and the entire country has an obsession with the Western culture (Engrish lyrics, anyone?) but Sho is probably a bit better than most of the other guys, and they know snatches of Mandarin and Korean as well, though mostly token phrases like "hi my name is", "thank you", "goodbye", etc. Sho took at least one Mandarin class in high school, so his Mandarin is also a bit better than the others.

Oh, and Sho had to memorize a short speech in Thai, Ohno in Korean, and Jun in Mandarin for their Arashi Around Asia thing. That's all I can think of off the top of my head right now, but yeah. :)
