Hi there~

In light of recent developments, audio recordings that were originally available with a time limit will now remain open (indefinitely).

Do you know what happened at the 14.12.2018 Nagoya concert so that they extended the time?? I didn't know about it until I read the comment in your tumblr post, but I can't really find any concert reports for that day.

The moving stage didn't fully descend for arashi (Sho, Ohno) to be (normally) able to do closing greetings while ANM went to change for final song. They carried on as if nothing was wrong, but each extended his closing greetings to (I guess) give staff-san time to deal with the technical fault.

In Sho's greeting (from the closing greetings audio), you can actually hear some metal clanging, probably as staff-san tried to work out the issue. I did wonder whether something was off, because usually arashi moving into position for closing greetings is unseen by the audience, but there was still enough light in the darkness to note them moving into position that day. I heard the clangs too, but didn't figure out the actual issue till after the con when I saw reports on the malfunction.

It was just that Arashi all went about it as usual business so we actually had them in their sparkly blue suits for 5x20; they only managed to change into pink suits for encore. That it translated into longer concert performance was something no fan was gonna gripe about. They were such pros that it didn't even seem to be an issue when the incident happened. It was only on hindsight that fans realised what had happened.

Wow!!! Thank you so much for elaborating!! I didn't know something like that had happened during one of their tour dates, but leave it to Arashi to deal with it like the pros they are! :)

there's at least twice you can hear clanging in the BG; first one louder (I think) than the second one (or the other way around; sorry December seems so long ago)
