some technical issues ;_;
Aug. 23rd, 2015 03:14 amhey fellow fangirls!! was wondering if i could ask you for some help for technical issues that i am facing when watching the concert DVDs.
I am now watching The Digitalian DVD which has been kindly subbed, and I am so grateful that it has been subbed it so quickly with such amazing effects :)) However, I am unable to listen to the audio and I have no idea why. The video plays perfectly though! It feels like I am watching a silent concert (gosh, that is so painful T_T)
I am using a new Macbook (OS X Yosemite, ver. 10. 10. 4) and I use QuickTime Player to watch the videos. I joined the files using Split&Concat. Would really really appreciate any help and advice such that I can hear their beautiful voices once again~ Thank you!!

Date: 2015-08-22 07:23 pm (UTC)I have the same files and I have no problem with the audio.
My system is Windows and use VLC as a player.
I think it's a problem of your system.
I'm sorry not to be able to be useful.

Date: 2015-08-22 07:38 pm (UTC)Quick Time Player can't play avi videos properly. You should change your player (vlc is perfect but I don't know it's available on Appstore or not). I hope it will be helpful. Sorry for my bad English:/

Date: 2015-08-22 07:45 pm (UTC)2) you should know that you can get into trouble for asking this question as it is considered "rule breaking". this can result in potential punishment for you from the mods of that comm. whether they will do that or not, i don't know. that's why i said "potential". the group you named has said in its rules post, which is the same as the application post, that naming them in any way (including in full and in acronym) that is not allowed. they only allow naming of them by acronym in private through email or PM on a private person-to-person basis. You can see this in their rules and how to join post.

Date: 2015-08-23 04:01 am (UTC)anyways, i'm also a mac user so VLC or MplayerX. both works great for me.
if you're using softsubs, recently for some reason vlc isn't reading softsub files w/o stopping the whole video so MplayerX is good for softsubs.

Date: 2015-08-23 06:12 am (UTC)In computer is fine, but sometimes I played it in my phone so I can watch it anytime. In my phone, it doesn't work with default player, but it's work with vlc.
Every type of file of video have different codec, in windows, with wmp, you should install codec pack again (I always using K-lite codec pack). VLC or gom player usually already have the codec so you can play anything in VLC. I think it same with ios too, since quick time is the default player for mac^^
