JE related shops in Kansai area!?

JE Fans I really need your help! Please come and save me >"<



I will be doing an exchange program in Osaka soon! I'm desperately doing some JE related research right now about the Kansai area because I haven't been there before =[

I was wondering if Osaka or the other Kansai cities have the idol shops similar to the ones on Takeshita-dori?! (sells unofficial photos.. idol goods and the most important CONCERT TICKETS!!?)

I have been to unofficial idol shops, ticket stores, JE family club and the official JE store, BUT they were all in Tokyo T^T I was wondering if Kansai have anything like that? I'm sure people living all around Japan loves JE too... they are not only located in Tokyo right?! T_T

Also, I read from somewhere that there is an Arashi store in the Kansai area?! Does anyone know about this? Does it still exist?! *0* I would LOVE to pay a visit to that store and get my money robbed from that store~ Would totally stay in there for hours admiring things...

Please, can anyone give me some directions as I am very clueless right now >< I only know that there is a Johnny's shop in Osaka...nothing else T^T

I also get a pick up from my school only on 7th and 8th Sptember^^. Orientation won't start until the 12th though XD lol, it's all the same XD

Yes, I think I will also enter the fanclub.. sadly it will be too late to ballot for this concert tour (>-<) maybe I should just try balloting on their variety shows although the chances to hit are probably even worse u_______u

I'm in Kwansei Gakuin University~ its located right in the middle of kobe and osaka actually XD

awww really?! sighhh i thought it will be a lil too late to ballot for arashi's concert.. but i had a little hope since its still.. july TOT omg.. i want to go so badly.. sighh i guess my only way is to look for another way to get my hands on a ticket for their concert T^T aww i know i want to ballot for their variety shows too.. aww who knows! since they have so many! maybe will get in =) sighh aww then should i still apply for arashi's FC T^T? since they wont announce another new concert anytime soon TOT

never heard of it before~ but it's nice there are so many cities nearby! I also wanna visit Kobe even though they say there are a lot of yakuza over there XD

originally I thought so as well.. but recently there was a topic on this at arashi_on and people said balloting for all concerts ends by the end of June or so T__________T
I also wanna go badly.. but I don't wanna pay hundreds of dollars =/ all we have left are variety shows XD and hope they'll start the next tour while we're still in japan so we can at least ballot for that one XDDD

it is in the downtown of kyoto ;) i did a little research on it before selecting schools hahaha! it is a good school too from what I've heard =) I actually want to take a tour around doshisha too *0*

I actually thought about buying online as a backup.. I understand what you mean... cause the price double/ triple once if its not from FC... will see how much is it before making a decision! heard if buy tickets online before knowing the seat will be cheaper... not sure though >< right now only the Osaka and 2 Sapporo concerts are up for purchase... osaka is very expensive as compared to Sapporo.. its like 30000yen less weirdly :s

Oh, I see! I didn't research much about it. it just happens to be the partner university of my university and I just went ahead, applied for it and was lucky enough to be chosen =D

Yeah, it seems to be the #1 place for yakuza from what I've hard from my uni professor XD

We're really unlucky u________u I was also expecting to be able to ballot for the January concerts.. it would have been great to go to the Ôsaka one (>-<) at least I wanna go there and buy some goods outside ^^

no one wants to go to Sapporo only for one concert that's why it seems to be cheaper.. but if you add the fee you need to go to Sapporo (by plane or sth)... then I guess the price should be about the same as the Ôsaka one..

yeahh i agree... sapporo is a bit far... but there are also people close to it i guess =) maybe we can go to the Nagoya one!? its close to Kansai too~ Not sure..just saw the locations for the concerts~ sighhh we won't know the price soon anyways T_T

Oh and if you wanna come take a tour around Dôshisha maybe I can show you around =D

it's very convenient for people living in Hokkaidô I guess.. there won't be as many people balloting for it maybe so it should be easier to get tickets!?
oh, when is the Nagoya one!? oO I only remeber the January ones in Ôsaka because it's nearby.
knowing the price for buying it without FC would depress me too much XD

yep, I definitely need to line up and buy sth! it would be nice to do that with some other fans cause waiting alone for hours in line would be very boring >-<

sighh! i know! its awesome that FC has a ballot system where close up to the stage ticket is also the same price.. but the worse thing is can't get tickets and need to spend double/ triple on it to get a tic >"< but i will just pretend its like seeing concerts here in my country.. hahaha! as long as its not too expensive that I can't afford T^T

well it's better to buy sapporo tickets than none at all XD oh, at the weekend? sounds great. so Nagoya is definitely another choice.
but I don't think I will buy tickets other than through the fanclub.. it's way too expensive I think. isn't it like 7 times the FC price or sth like that oO it's an insane amount seriously... I don't think I can afford that (well I could if I wanted to.. but my mother would probably go berserk at me for spending so much money on a concert XD)

I understand how you feel! I used to like HnA the most.. but since it changed I prefer VSA. all the recent VSA episodes were amazing~

Yup! Nagoya is definitely another choice!!!! Awww really? well I know what you mean ToT I hope the Nagoya one won't hit that high.. currently the Osaka ones are like 80,000- 12,000 yen >_> which is like insane.. but a lot of the tickets are gone 0.0" the power of Arashi's fans HAHA!
But the Sapporo ones are like 30,000-45,000 yen right now... I don't know~ I hope Nagoya one wont raise that high...if its like Sapporo's I can still afford *0*

VSA is fun to watch XD It will be more awesome to watch live!! but I hope the time won't clash with school =~=" since he filming time... won't be on a weekend?! T_T the bad side for being a student? XD

That's insane.. I would never pay that much I think.. I mean that's like chosing between going on a holiday or on a concert XD I wonder who can afford to buy such expensive tickets~ these people are probably saving money all year to spend it on a ticket XD
I think Nagoya won't be as expensive as Ôsaka but not as cheap as Sapporo.. probably sth in between... which is probably still too much IMO. The Sapporo price seems okay~ I'd be willing to pay that for a concert in Ôsaka or Nagoya... but it's unrealistic XD

Yeah, I'm sure of it! Oh, I was also wondering about that oO it probably means we have to skip school to go to the recording!? lol I wonder if you get in a lot of trouble for skipping university one day... (<-<)

Ohhh~ that's great! the wait was quite long for us =( as we have to select a few schools then our university tells u which one u can hit then u apply for that Japanese uni.. it was like applying for it two times going through the wait 2 times T^T plus the earthquake that hit japan.. everything got slow down I think :S

I know! it is indeed insane!! and its not just international fans but local Japanese fans buying it all the time online? when they miss? i seriously wonder how do they save up the money for it! *0* as u said~ its like choosing between a short trip or to a concert! though I understand they just want to see their idol since its a once a yr concert...

oh, that seems complicated oO you even ahve to go through applying procedures twice.. must have been annoying (>-<) actually Dôshisha was the first new partner university of my university so there was no such thing for me. it was like go to Dôshisha if you're lucky or stay at home XD
yeah, I'm sure the process slowed down because of the earthquake and such oO actually I was originally supposed to go to Japan by the end of March and start studying in April but when the earthquake hit Japan and the nuclear thing was out of control my mother didn't allow me to go there ... so I had to postpone it~

I also understand.. I wanna spend that much money on it too if it's needed.. but it's like I want to but I can't because I think it's too expensive and a waste of money. I'd rather wait until I hit for tickets one day... lol

XD I'm also daydreaming about it... still thinking sth will happen to make it possible for me to go to the concert.. lol

A lot of people I know are always skipping university.. it's like just normal over here XD but I never do, I always attend every lecture~ but I would do it if I can go see Arashi XD but if there is an attendance list and such.. oO you never know.. oh well.. we'll have to wait and see I guess^^

I'm also waiting for me COE right now~ I hope they'll send it soon so that I can finally re-apply for my visa =) slowly but surely I can also feel that the time is coming~ ^^

speaking of which~ JE will continue with their Marching J stuff until the end of the year right? so maby ethrough that we'll get a chance to see Arashi somehow even if only for a short time? for now seeing them once (even if it's not a concert) is better than not seeing them at all..

people even skip the smaller lessons over here.. I don't usually have such big lectures since there aren't so many people studying Japanese~ but I also live nearby.. and I usually feel guilty if I skip sth so that's why I always go to uni =)

I actually like all the members in Arashi XD they are awesome <3 though Sho is my favorite! so smart and funny at all times! then its MatsuJun =)

ohhh same here, mostly of my courses are small lectures~ I don't skip too~ but there are ppl who skips small classes as well n just get their frds to sign in attendance for them = =" so not fair...

Yeah, well as I said I was supposed to go to Japan in March so I already got a visa in January. but I have to get a new COE and reapply for a new visa now^^

I'm sure they will.. they should do sth where you don't have to apply for but just go... then we can easily see them XD I would take the chance immediately without thinking twice =D

I love Sho's fails at VSA or when he is beeing made fun of because of his nadegata XD I think I like Nino 2nd best~ his brattiness is awesome =D

Oh, I see^^. there's no such rule for us I think. also it's not a rule that you can go for one year. recently new exchange students were chosen but they can only go to Japan for one semester. I'm so happy that I can stay for a whole year <3

ahhh that's nice~ so free =) for my school, if you want to go for one term only, u can only go during spring term in japan(2nd term) cause if not we won't be able to skip term 1 and come bk for term 2

I don't know if it's really good because it's also bad to miss only 1 term I think... because the courses only take places once a year.. so atcually it sucks to go for only one semester oO I don't really know why the International office and Dôshisha decided to take students for one semester only this time... oh wlel, not my problem XD

Its just my school like that~ the other university near where I live isn't like that.. u can take any term off you want :S but for mine the only choice u can take off is the summer term.. other wise if u miss any one of the fall or winter term.. u wont be able to go to school that yr i think?! its confusing @@" but its ok! not my problem too XD cause we r going for full year!! :D 楽しみ～

hmm, so they basically forbid the students to take off only one term? it's really confusing indeed. I think it's similar for my university. it doesn't really make sense if you miss only one semester of Japanese studies...

hmm... yeah, I think once we got used to our new life in Japan time will pass by quickly and then it'll be over =/
it's gonna be hard to return home somehow and get used to your "old life" again...
