I don't know if this was shared before, but I found out that JE has actually set up a ticketing service for overseas fans!

This is really awesome and I hope they update it more and more soon but unfortunately I've been a member for quite a while and as of now no arashi related events/concerts :( I dunno if they're selling out quickly or what but nothing yet. Lets hope for more arashi in the future XDDDD

This isn't exactly new news since both the email system and ticket service were opened last year already, but I have no idea if anyone has posted about it at Arashi comms. *got emails from Johnny's International before it was officially even opened herself because of getting emails from TakiChannel*

Either way it's very unlikely that there will be Arashi tickets sold through the ticket service, since Arashi's concerts are really difficult to get tickets for in Japan already, and International will only sell tickets to events that won't be sold out in Japan as far as I know.

Nope, Japanese people who are paying for their fanclub membership are first in line for the tickets. (The fact that Jticket international only lists a few concerts despite how many cons there's been lately tells a lot too.) The concerts won't even appear on the ticket site before Japanese fans have gotten their pick first. It's understandable of course, if the Japanese fans are paying for their memberships in the first place, they need to have first go for the tickets too. The whole international system was making official fanclub members iffy about the whole thing in the first place, so it's just good they dealt with it like this. Even fanclub members have hard time getting tickets when it's about Arashi. I've heard about Arashi fanclub members who've only hit for tickets once in a few years, that's how insanely popular Arashi are. So usually people buy tickets from resales. (And it's not weird for good tickets to sell for thousands of dollars.) *has seen couple dozen Johnny's concerts and musicals in Japan but isn't really too much of an Arashi fan so has never had to deal with that issue but can usually get tickets through her friend's fanclub membership* I don't really even care that much about the well the system is gonna work in the long run, in my opinion it'd be better to keep if low scale in the first place or Japanese fans are gonna hate on the foreigner fans. Personally I'm just very happy of the gesture from Johnny's side in the first place that they're actually acknowledging the foreign fandom to start something like this in the first place.

yeah, this was out last fall. But I think like luma-chan above. There will only be tickets for less popular events that aren't sold our. If there's going to be Arashi tickets it'll probably be years in the future as their popularity falters >_<
but still, its a step in the right direction! :)
