hello just 2 quick questions:

1) for Arashi concert the one in Aug in Kokuritsu, are the tickets out to buy for a non FC member??? if there is it would be very nice if u can give me a link. for the seating part i know that i probably wont get a good seat but a seat where i can still see them is good,if u know anyone or any website with good tickets selling at a reasonable price then please tell me. also i heard that theres a place called gorakudoh where i can get the tickets for their concert. do u think its possible to get it at this place?? any resources u can give me is appreciated.

2) the second question is i want to buy there new Album but i dont want to go thru the trouble of shipping since i dun know where i will be at that time it comes. will i be able to successfully buy it in HMV??? or is ordering it the only way i can get it??? anything that might help is appreciated. Thanks very much =)

1. Sometimes non-FC tickets are sold for Arashi concerts, but I doubt that there will be any for Kokuritsu since it was such a popular selection for fanclub members. Non-FC tickets are not usually sold online. Usually you get them through stores like Lawsons in Japan. If you are looking for FC tickets being sold, you can try ticket.co.jp or yahoo!auctions. If you do not have a Japanese credit card or bank account, however, you will need to use a go-between service. I recommend i-TM4U (http://i-tm4u.biz), but there are many others. Fanclub tickets being sold will ALWAYS be expensive. Don't expect to pay any less than around 400,000yen, and most tickets will be much more.

2. You should be able to buy Arashi's album at HMV, unless your local store sells out of copies. You can also pre-order through HMV stores. If you just go to the store and speak with someone at the register, they can place an order so that your copy will be reserved for you at the HMV store and you can go pick it up when the album releases. If you are talking about buying the album at a store in Japan, you shouldn't have too much trouble finding it since any CD store will stock it. You won't get the first-press version, but you shouldn't have a problem finding the RE.

I don't think it'll hit 400k yen. I last saw on ticketJ, most of the kokuritsu ones are going at 70,000-150,000 yen. 400,000 yen is waaaay too high?

Whoa typo xD That was supposed to be 40,000yen, which was one of the lowest prices I saw for tickets for a venue last year.

*40,000yen, not 400,000yen. Thanks to [livejournal.com profile] karened below for catching that typo :)

Speaking from prior experience, most HMV stores in Canada don't stock Arashi and won't pre-order it without a hefty shipping cost - I've found that it really is much easier to go through online selling - for the new album, if you order it on YesAsia's North American site, you can get free shipping, since it will cost over $40.00.

Not sure what you mean by "a reasonable price", but I doubt you will find tickets to Korkuritsu for any reasonable price. Unless reasonable is $800 - $1000 USD. I saw Arashi in Osaka last year and paid 30,000 yen, but I had to wait until the concert had almost started before the scalpers came down on their price (they were asking 50,000 yen) and I think the guy sold it to me out of pity because he could tell I'd come a VERY long way. As it happened, I got very good seats, about 10 feet from the backstage.

But Korkuritsu is another matter all together. That's the concert EVERYONE desperately wants to go to. It'll be very pricey, last year they went for 80,000 to 100,000 yen, even from the scalpers. I searched the auction sites last year and those tickets sell for 2 or 3 times what the scalpers sell them for. I also went to the shop in Harajuku (probably the one you are speaking of) and they only had one ticket for Arashi for sell for 150,000 when I went. The scalpers were the cheapest way to go by far, but that means that you have to go to Japan without even knowing whether you will get to see the concert. AND you have to be willing to buy from yakuza and speak at least a little Japanese (san-men?) But I heard that last year even the scalpers didn't have tickets for sale for Kokoritsu. Arashi are even more popular this year. Good luck!
