News: Jun in a fender bender

Jun was in a fender bender today on his way home from Narita, presumably after his trip to NYC. Due to icy/snowy road conditions and a hill, Jun rear ended another car while trying to stop at a light. Both parties were uninjured and there is only minimal damage to the bumpers of both cars. The accident apparently occurred in the Meguro ward.

I almost had to laugh at this though, considering the stories that Arashi has said over the years about Jun's careless attention that he gives his car. Including side-swiping a toll booth in Aiba's car a few years ago (his excuse being it was a Japanese car and he was used to driving foreign vehicles - meaning having the steering wheel on the 'wrong' side of the car).

This whole situation made me wonder how auto insurance works in Japan - how much will his auto company jack up his rates now? :)

(Of course I'm glad he and the other driver are safe)

Probably pretty much the same as here, meaning he'll probably want to just pay for the damages out of pocket because the deductible would be crazy and the premiums would jack like crazy.

I remember my dad paid for damages my boat of a car did once out of pocket because it was just a ton easier XD.

I´m just glad he and the other driver are okay. It would be terrible, if something would´ve happened to him. And I have to agree. He´ll be able to afford some scratches, if he´s able to go to NY for a small trip^^

This actually made me laugh (not the accident, just the fact everyone went crazy after they found out). Accidents happen, no one's a perfect driver. There was a report on the news about him getting into the accident and from the way it was reported it made it seem like he died O_O It just made me laugh. At least it was nothing more than a fender bender.

I just read at the Tokyograph that the other driver was a woman. Can you imagine her surprise after seeing sexy, hot, delicious Jun coming out of the car behind her???? XD

That is of course if she knows who he is . . . but even if you didn't know who he was you gotta admit you'd be thinking "Sekshi boi" all the way home!!! XP

Ah, the day before yesterday (monday) was the first snow of the year here in Tokyo. And the article says it was monday night, so that was right after it started snowing. There was all kinds of accidents that night 'cause people aren't used to driving in the snow (it doesn't snow much in the Tokyo area). It's kind of funny though that they make a big deal out if it because it's MatsuJun and then for the rest of the accidents they just say "there were quite a lot of fender benders today" or something in the news, hehe.

Lmao I'm glad no one was hurt but honestly the first thing I thought of too was when he messed up Aiba's car within 30 seconds of driving XDD Maybe he should stick to trains like Ohno?
