Date: 2010-01-24 03:10 pm (UTC)I don't know, but I thought it might be good to tell them as much as possible about what Arashi actually have accomplished and what they spend their days doing, so here's what I wrote:
"I found out about Arashi after watching a Japanese TV series called Hana Yori Dango. They are a 5-member, all male pop-group, from the talent agency Johnny & Accociates Inc, or best known as Johnny's Entertainment. They debuted as a group in Hawaii 1999 and has released 8 studio albums since the start of their carieer, played in several tv dramas, movies, theatre plays and hosts various radio- and television shows.
Last year, 2009 was their 10th year anniversary and their sales went like a rocket to the sky. One of their most sold singles was 'Believe', and according to the Oricon charts this single was the most sold single in Japan in 2009. The song was also the title theme for Takashi Miike's film "Yattaman", which Sakurai Sho (a member of Arashi) starred in.
Many people might recognize the face of especially one guy in Arashi, Ninomiya Kazunari. Ninomiya Kazunari starred as "Saigo", one of the leading roles in Clint Eastwood's "Letter's from Iwo Jima".
Arashi's popularity seems to be neverending and in recent years they've started to gather thousands of fans across the entire globe, even though they've never done a world tour.
I think it would be amazing to see these guys perform on American television, as it would make american fans go totally bananas out of happiness, but also a great oportunity to introduce these down-to-earth, positive and hard-working guys to a western audience.
I hope you will consider it, as it would, to put it frankly, be mindblowingly awesome. "
I hope if anyone's writing to the show but have trouble writing something...just tell them about all the awesoem stuff Arashi have done/are doing! I don't even live in the US, but this would be fantastic if it actually went through.
Peace <3

Date: 2010-01-27 03:45 pm (UTC)To put it in a nutshell:I think our boys will make their own way through ,to be known even outside Asia;but looking at how the things are at the moment-it's not in this case.
Please don't hate me,I was just stating the obvious.
