Hi!
First time posting, I hope I'm doing this right ^^'
I've been given the chance to go to Kyoto and I'd really like to buy some Arashi merchandise (if possible, also a KAT-TUN uchiwa for a friend). But I'm completely clueless about where to find these things or if I can even find them in Kyoto. I know there's a Johnny's shop in Osaka but, unfortunately, I'm not sure I'd be able to go there T_T
Can someone please give me some info/point me in the right direction? =D
Thank you so much in advance ^^

Date: 2009-05-08 05:51 am (UTC)As for other things, there are plenty of used CD shops in the Osaka/Kyoto area as well as a few idol shops. Mandarake tends to have some used CDs, DVDs and sometimes merch as well as doujin.
It's not as much as if you were in Tokyo/Harajuku/Ikebukero, but you can find it.

Date: 2009-05-08 06:59 am (UTC)and besides between Osaka and Kyoto with Shinkansen it takes around 20 min.
+ maybe 10 min with subaway in Osaka.
here are info how to get there: http://chosoo.livejournal.com/10978.html
but of course you can get cds, magazines, dvds, photobooks of the guys at various bookstores and cd stores..
in Kyoto I'd recomend the bookstore on the 3rd floor (same buildning as Kyoto tower - located opposite the Kyoto station)
