I was just too curious I couldnt wait 4 subbed version of tonight's ep. What was it about the 2 guys? are they brothers or what? they were talking about DNA and stuff usually you can just catch what they are talking about by watching but this time atashi wa zenzen wakarimasen..and the egyptian couple they had 7 babies right?

waaaah the frustration of not being able to speak nihongo. Hay..

Thanks everyone.

The gist is: this family in China had twins but as they grew older they looked less and less alike. The older one, Yi Wen, was healthy but the younger, Yi Wu, was always kind of sickly. After high school, the younger went to work while the older when to university in Beijing. People kept mistaking him for this other guy, Xiang Nan, and then he found out this guy looked exactly like him. Long story short -- Xiang Nan and Yi Wu were switched by accident at the hospital. They did DNA tests to see whose kid was whose and they were thinking about what to do... in the end they decided just to stay with their "wrong" families because that's how they grew up. But the 3 guys feel like brothers now, 2 because they grew up together and 2 cuz they share blood.

Yeah, the Egyptian couple had 7 babies. Um... Septuplets? I don't know. They wanted a boy and then they got 4.

Not Japanese but I hope this is mostly correct.

One of the twins (let's call him X) was mistakenly switched at birth with another child (single child - let's call him Y - in this case) and the twins only met up again after 21 years.

X's brother found out about the existence of another person who looked like him when he was away from the family studying (in University?) where people would often mistake him for X. When even his girlfriend told him so, X's brother wanted to see the person for himself. Then, either it was coincidence or that the girlfriend arranged for the X to also come along, the twins finally met.

When X's brother finally informed the family, Y decided to go for DNA test, and it proved that he was not part of the family. Sad as the news was, the 3 later became brothers of three, rather than just twins as Y'x brother felt that he could not just ignore the 21 years of kinship with Y.

It was a very touching account... which the Arashi lads teased Aiba to ask if he cried while watching this...

Hopefully, this is correct. I'm guessing from the VTR and the kanji that I can make out... LOL...

Cannot believe I actually got to watch this 'live' while in Japan... 2 more days before I'm back home from Kyushu...

It really looked like Aiba teared up, didn't it? I wouldn't blame him. I got a little misty-eyed from the story too. It was such nice story. ^.^
