Okay so I wrote this song some time ago, just haven't got the time to record the full song. Yeah I wrote this, music & lyrics, go on and laugh XD
Just wanted to create a song meant for Arashi fans, whom (plural) I call 旭 Asahi - rising sun, it's actually my name lol. So here's this song Arashi no Asahi. It's written in English, and the only Japanese parts are those taken from A.Ra.Shi's rap, and "Arashi ga yatte kuru". I am painfully aware that I suck at singing fast songs, and not to mention, rapping T.T it's just a demo, so bear with me okay?
I persoanally like the chorus, the "It's a storm struck down" part^^. I hope you guys can share your thoughts with me, cause I'm actually planning to arrange this song properly and record it in a studio, you know plus mixing and stuffs XD
Please at least listen to this song once, thoroughly; and if possible, comment^^
Thank you *bows*

Lyrics:
Purple darkness came
Filled up the earth
Signs of untold
We witnessed

Unity, strength
Power and speed
Racing Forward
Arashi ga yatte kuru

Clouds swirled as winds struck past
We know the time has come
Have you seen? Have you heard?
We feel them drawing near
Heaven & Earth gave way as they approached
Here they come
Weren't we all? Aren't we all?
Waiting?!

It's a storm struck down on the sun
Right on the rising time
Rays, shone out bright
Overpow'ring every soul
It's alright, let them lead the way
See them work their wonders
We, rising sun of morning, dawn of day
The rising sun of storm

Though brightness dimmed
This time we know
We shouldn't fear
No destructions

Ride on fire, storm
That's what we are made of
Sun, fire, all for one
Arise, and shine

It's a storm struck down on the sun
Right on the rising time
Rays, shone out bright
Overpow'ring every soul
It's alright, let them lead the way
See them work their wonders
We, rising sun of morning, dawn of day
The rising sun of storm

Will there be a tomorrow
Don't ask me I don't know

This is just the beginning
This is not a game at all
This is the start~

They're a storm struck down on the sun
Burning every heart
It ain't a game, we all know
We love them more than anything
Lose it all, we will fight the battle
Let them lead the way
We, rising sun of morning, dawn of day
Indeed, we're the rising sun

I like it. Although, I'm not an expert or anything, but there are some words that could use a bit of changing because of the syllables or the way it was sung. All in all, I like your solo blending and the piano (though unfortunately, the piano was quite a bit louder than the singing). XDDD

THIS.IS.GREAT.
"It's a storm struck down" part especially.
And piano... and lyrics...
Yeah, the rap part were hard to hear... but if you arrange it properly in studio...
I'm shocked(in a good way of course).
It's the first time I encounter such a thing from a fan.
*bowing with awe*

I think that it's pretty alright for a raw recording. If you do it at a studio setting, it will get better. On a side note, though you have a pretty decent voice, very easy to listen to, you need to get better control of your breathing for sustained phrases as well as for vocal support on your lower register. I hope you keep on singing and practing. By the way, I like your lyrics! Keep it up.

I love the song - lyrics melody and all! :)
"It's a storm struck down on the sun
Right on the rising time " --> the melody was especially good at this part, it got stuck in my head!

And your voice was just wonderful, (I was reading through the comments), and I can't believe that english is not your first language, or that you've never had vocal lessons before!

I think you could be awesome, I'd certainly want to dl the song after you've recorded in the studio! :)
