The concerts just ended, and most of the people who would be willing to scan it aren't even home to their respective countries yet.

Patience? As a scanner, not all of us have time to scan things immediately.

I had a friend get it for me, and I may scan it if it's much different than the Dream-a-live one, but if not, then I'm not going to.

What I'm trying to say is wait to request something until it's been out for a while. If someone hasn't scanned it within a month of it coming out, then it's safe to say you can request it.

It gets redundant to see request after request after request for things that will be scanned soon in the comms.

Requests are usually reserved for older or more rare things, not something that will most likely be scanned/ripped/subbed/translated.
