I was wondering if any of you knew what the song that Ohno and Nino sing in this video is? So catchy, it's been stuck in my head!! It sounds and looks like a Shounentai cover maybe (what is the deal with Arashi and Shounentai anyways, haha)? Also, can I download just this clip somewhere, or an audio rip?

The original song was from Kyotokyo stageplay in 1997 and yes, it was done before by Higashiyama of Shounentai while Ohno was one of his backdancers. You can watch it here:

Let's just say Higashiyama Noriyuki is like the "sugar daddy" of Arashi. He has always been there to support them, even before their debut, mostly through Ohno who as you can see backdanced and did a lot of stageplays with him/Shounentai. And even now, he was there for the recent Kokuritsu first day.

Higashiyama is a great sugar-daddy. I love him (no no no). I would love to see Arashi do more Shounentai covers because I feel like it sort of matches somehow!

So I know about Higashiyama and Ohno (Kyoto and his role in making Ohno into Leader) and about him sharing no-audition elite status with MatsuJun, but did he just take the boys to Hawaii for fun that one time? Man, what I would do to be in the middle of that hot party. Also, Arashi had his picture in G no Arashi, what was that about? Do you happen to know?

Johnny's are usually doing covers of their sempais anyway during those Johnny-type events hehe of course popular songs of Shounentai song would be like "Kimi Dake Ni" and "Kamen Butoukai" (wake up desire~). Arashi earlier concerts have Shounentai songs too like "Hoshikuzu no Spangle". That's back when Arashi barely have enough songs to sing of their own XD

To Hawaii after Countdown that time? Was it just Aiba, Jun and Nino? That one was more like they had to accompany Mori-baachan (Mori Mitsuko) XD but yah, Higashiyama was the one who paid for them.

For the "C/D/G/ no Arashi" series, if you look in the background of the set, you would spot something related to Higashiyama because he was one of the "producer" - not that he was there but he does appear randomly at times haha. I'm not sure if he is connected to "Arashi no Shukudaikun" though (maybe i should check the credits one day).

Also four years ago, he was responsible for getting our boys on 24HRTV! That was one of the reason we keep calling him "sugar daddy" haha.

Random other person cutting it, please excuse me. There are a few web based sites for ripping. First one I can think of is vixynet, but that rips to avi as well. Though I don't think it can exploit the "Higher Quality" option. I, a mac user, have TubeTV, which will rip files that go over 100MB but yeah.

Okay. I'll shut up and upload that nicer 49MB version now. >>
