I can't be this community's only Taiwan resident, so here it is...

The Arashi Around Asia 2008 in Taipei concerts on October 11th and 12th, tickets are FINALLY going on sale starting noon on August 30th (Jun's birthday!). Purchases can be made either at ticket boothes or online at Era Tickets. Prices range from 2,800NT to 800NT. The ENTIRE arena will be open for seating! Meaning no matter where you sit, you'll probably get a glimpse of the boys. Check the below websites for further information:

say, can you help me a bit out with the era ticket website? i don't understand taiwanese so i have to use google translate just to understand anything there. however, i can't seem to find the page where concert details of the arashi concert are found..i've looked through their whole schedule.. T_T

I'm kind of mad at Era right now because they don't have a page for Arashi yet. X( It's preposterous, but I've been checking their site ever since they announced the AAA tour, and even now when Superdome has released the ticket sale dates Era STILL doesn't have their name up. Not even in the schedules. I'm sure Era will put their concert info up soon, but the most informative site right now is their page on Superdome, which you can find here: http://www.superdome.com.tw/arashi2008/

Even on that page, though, it says that further information about the concert are still to be released, so I'm guessing Era won't put up their slot until they've officially "confirmed" the concert or something like that.

Yeah, I'm getting tickets, but through a friend, though. I reccomend buying the tickets at the ticket booths themselves, because that's the surest way to get one. You're right, the site will most probably be swamped. =/

It will be, trust me. Everytime there's a Johnny's concert through Superdome and ERA, it jams. Even ticket booths jam as well, just they recover quicker than regular internet.

You need to register with ERA if you are purchasing the tickets online.

Basically, the Arashi page is out right now:

Here it is.

They haven't completed the whole page yet, but when the time comes for ordering tickets - it you are doing it through their online system via the internet, click on the button that says "立即訂購" to purchase the tickets.

Once you're there, they will have the concert venue information and a pull-down menu for you to choose your seating. The seating areas are usually arranged in colors and alphabet letters (you'll see once the seating map is out.) So, you can choose the area you want in the pull-down menu and click on the button that corresponds to the venue.

Next, you are taken to a click-able map. Here, click on the area you want to purchase a seat in. After that, there will be a seating arrangement of the area you have chosen. If you see red figures, that means those seats have been purchased already. If you see empty checkboxes, then you can check those to purchase them. At the top, there might be a pull-down menu for you to choose ticket price, just choose the only option available there.

After that, click the button at the bottom to continue and you are taken to your ticket cart. Here, they will have a list of tickets you have purchased. You need to sign in with your ERA account and complete the purchase by credit card.

There is another option for buying tickets for oversea users. On the main page of ERA, there is a FAX number. You could try FAXing them with a ticket request.

Hi, I was wondering if someone can help me - I don't have any of the problems above, but when I enter my passport number it gives me an error. Can I do anything about it? I'm not Taiwanese for reference so I don't have a national id number.

Your passport number has to be 9 digits to be accepted. Mine only had 8 digits (2 letters followed by 6 numbers), I called Era Tickets and they told me to add a leading zero to make 9 dights total, and it accepted. Hope this helps.

After spending 4 hours online, I managed to buy tickets, but not the 2800 ones I want. I bought 2 1500 tickets (yellow 3C, 7th row) to the 1st show. I slept for a bit (it was 4am in Toronto, Canada when I finished) then tried again to buy tickets to the 2nd show. The website said there were still a few 2800 tickets to the 2nd show but when I tried to pay, it said the tickets were already bought by someone else, so I gave up and settled for 2 1000 tickets (yellow 3B, 20th row).

I shouldn't be complaining since at least I can get into the concert. And hopefully they'll mail out the tickets on time.
