I don't know if anyone else has gotten a response from anyone in regard to sending out messages for Ohno, but I sent a message to au earlier today and just got this e-mail in response:

It's not all that exciting, but I thought I would share it in case anyone wanted a general idea of how they felt. Though the message is obviously pretty vague...

Also, I can't read very much Japanese so I only got the main gist of the message. If anyone feels like translating, go for it.

From what I can tell, it says that they are currently monitoring the situation with Ohno carefully and will see what happens. Also, that they appreciate me sharing my "valuable" opinion and that their customers satisfaction is very important to them.

Pretty boring, but sill something...

Also, since my knowledge is limited there might be some miscalculations in my interpretation...gomen ne.

If i'm not wrong, they are saying that they are still deciding on the contract with Ohno. Still not confirmed as they are still investigating abt the scandal.

i got a reply in english as i wrote to them in english. i believe they would look into the matter carefully.


and eto...i'm not sure, but i hope it's ok that their reply is posted publicly? i remember them saying that their replies are not to be copied nor quoted? ^^;

but i am surely happy that they DO read our support comments. i think that's what matters.

same here! i got the exact same english message! and like many of you have already mentioned, i'm glad they replied and i also hope that we got our message across. i guess after receiving so many emails supporting Ohno, they came up with a template. thanks to all who helped spread the news about the links and to everyone else who emailed them. Just like bigmow said in the comment above mine, i am hoping for the best.
