Can someone help me to translate this????
I got this from fybabe's blog, she said that while hydf is doing really well right now, kakushi toride is a flop... but since she didn't translate it, i don't know what's written there.. so please, if someone can help me to translate this, i'll really appreciate it^^ thankyu!!


東宝、年間興収600億突破に吉兆

『ドラえもん　のび太と緑の巨人伝』　東宝がこのほど、2008年上半期の作品別興行収入を明らかにした。10億円を超えた作品は11本で、昨年と同数。トップは『ドラえもん のび太と緑の巨人伝』の33億7000万円だった。

　 ２位以下は、『マリと子犬の物語』（31億4000万円）、『名探偵コナン 戦慄の楽譜（フルスコア）』（24億2000万円）、『陰日向に咲く』（19億4000万円）、『映画クロサギ』（17億1000万円）、『チーム・バチ スタの栄光』（15億6000万円）、『少林少女』（15億円、公開中につき見込み）、『クレヨンしんちゃん ちょー嵐を呼ぶ　金矛（キンポコ）の勇者』（12億3000万円）、『椿三十郎』（11億4000万円）、『銀色のシーズン』（10億4000万円）、 『砂時計』（10億円、公開中につき見込み）と続く。ちなみに、６月７日公開の『ザ・マジックアワー』、同月28日公開の『花より男子ファイナル』は含ま れていない。

　上半期（１～６月）の全興収は247億6000万円で、昨年同期の105％。５月までは昨年を下回っていたが、６月に入り『ザ・マジックアワー』（６月末時点で26億7000万円）と『花男』（同11億8000万円）のヒットで大きく盛り返した。

　 ５月までの不調の要因としては、アニメのシリーズものの成績低下。さらに、期待作だった『少林少女』、『椿三十郎』、『隠し砦の三悪人 THE LAST PRINCESS』の数字の伸び悩みなどが挙げられる。５月までは、ここ数年の東宝らしさが影を潜めた格好だったが、６月以降は本来の姿に戻り始めている ようだ。後半のラインナップから見ても、年間興収で悲願の600億円突破もありえるかもしれない。

It's an article talking about how Japanese movies have performed at the box office for the first half of 2008. Overall, the money taken in in the first half of 2008 is lower than 2007's profits. It shifts the blame for the low numbers onto how anime series' movies are not doing as well as expected on the whole, and also how there were a number of movies where hopes were high, but they underperformed (among them Kakushi Toride).

But then it goes on to say that because Hanadan and The Magic Hour are both huge box office hits, that the overall profits for 2008 will probably improve as a result.

I haven't watched it yet, but i really think kakushi toride should be a good movie..
