Arashi's Sho Sakurai breaks right thumb falling from stage
Sho Sakurai (26) from popular group "Arashi" made a mistake and fell from the stage during a concert rehearsal at Nagoya Dome yesterday. He broke the joint of his right thumb. It will take a month for a complete recovery.
Sakurai impacted his right hand during the fall. The rehearsal was halted and he was rushed to hospital due to immense pain. He returned to the stage as planned after the injury was seen to. However, he participated little in the dance routines, and announced to the fans, "I've broken the first bone in my life." At present, Arashi is in the middle of their national Dome Tour, but Sakurai is expected to participate as planned. He will also appear on Nippon Television's "NEWS ZERO" on June 2.
