arashi_offCalling all Arashi Fan's around the globe...Just thought its time for a new poll...but I'm dying to ask everyone this...
The poll question is "Who is your ichiban?" 
I've started this poll 3 days ago @ vox community and the response has been sugoi!!! Given that there's alot of people on the LJ community I wanna share the poll here and need your votes now.( Gomen, I'm not an active LJ user right now but posted here coz I'm sure it will reach alot more Arashi fan's.) For example, I'm sure he cares about his popularity, just like other idols; but with him I get the feeling that he would never do something just for his popularity's sake, if it was something he genuinely didn't want to do or had a true dislike of - unlike some other idols.
I really like people like that - I also like actors who choose interesting roles over popular ones, and musicians who make music they would like to sing and not music they think the public would like to hear, for example - and I really enjoy the way Ohno doesn't seem to let anyone rush him.
Something that I guess is also a part of his "my pace" personality is that he seems to have a very strong sense of himself. Not only physically (though that is likely what makes him the best dancer in Arashi), but also mentally: He knows what he likes and dislikes and what kind of person he is. I think that's something very important, especially for an idol; because it's so easy to lose yourself in what others expect of you.
And apart from that "my pace" description, it of course also helps that he's cute - and will likely stay cute for the rest of his life. XD (I think he'll look like Yoda when he's eighty, and he'll probably have the same habit of saying weird, vaguely wise-sounding stuff at random. XDD)
And lastly, he looks like someone who'd accept it if I was to feed him cookies. I like people who I can feed cookies. ^-^

Date: 2008-10-01 02:55 am (UTC)Ohno's been my favorite since probably.. my second or so week into Arashi. He's calm, multi-talented, funny (whether he means to be or not) and just plain interesting. Whenever I watch something Arashi related I am always drawn to Ohno first, and I'm not even sure completely why.
I'm surprised (but happy) that Ohno's leading, though. I wonder how long that will last.
